Unscented Soap Bar

Our bar soap is a celebration of simplicity. Handmade with only 6 natural, Australian, ingredients, our hemp soap is totally vegan, gentle on sensitive skin, and leaves the body refreshed, cleansed and nourished. Unlike other soaps, our rich infusion of olive, hemp and coconut oils banishes dirt without dehydrating skin. This unscented hemp bar soap is perfect for getting fresh and clean without any nasties or fragrances.

What’s in it for me?

To create our soap we use the traditional lye method (Pot ash/Potassium Hydroxide), in which natural lye is combined with hemp, olive and coconut oils, along with shea butter, catalysing a chemical process called saponification. The result of this process is a rich and moisturising soap, with no added detergents and no traces of lye, perfect for cleansing sensitive skin.

Olive oil is packed with antioxidants which, when applied to the skin, can help combat sun damage and signs of ageing. Olive oil is also rich in fat-soluble vitamins. Hemp, olive and coconut oils all have been shown to have antibacterial properties, with hemp oil also having excellent anti-inflammatory properties, which can soothe the skin.

Both shea butter and hemp oil have very high fatty acid contents, making them excellent emollients which help keep skin plump and smooth.

Hemp oil and olive oil are both excellent sources of vitamin E which has long been considered a holy grail in skincare, both in diminishing wrinkles and combating troublesome skin conditions, such as psoriasis and eczema.

How to use:
To use our soap simply lather with water and go to town! To make your soap last longer, try slicing off a piece to use in the shower and store the rest of the bar in a cool, dry place until you need it.
